The Advanced Pressure Controller is a single-channel pressure regulator. It is the best tool to control microfluidic systems on the market. With its cutting-edge piezo technology, it controls pressure with speed, precision, and stability, which has simply no match.
Thanks to its embedded electronics, the Advanced Pressure Controller goes above and beyond raw performance. It can read an analog or digital sensor. It can run a feedback loop with that sensor. It can run basic waveforms and can even have custom ones.
Its compact form factor, robust casing and fixation points make it ideal for mechanical integration.
Its high-speed serial connection is compatible with both any serial controllers and the Advanced Control Center for large and complex microfluidic systems.

How does Elveflow help you develop effective experimental prototypes?
For the prototyping stage, you can either benefit from our off-the-shelf instruments or directly from the Advanced range. Can the module be easily integrated into a more complete prototype?
Installation of the Advanced Pressure Controller in a more complete prototype is facilitated thanks to its own fixation points. The module can then be held in position and no preferred mounting orientation is necessary, ensuring a high degree of freedom.
To help integrate the entire Advanced range, the modules only have two form factors. Hence, the integration is neater as all the modules can be stacked up in an optimal way. The Advanced Assembly Kit, provided as an option, can also smooth the mechanical integration as it includes brackets to help the assembly.
Does Elveflow provide support?
We provide you with support from our team of experts throughout your project, either with documentation available for free on our website or through direct contact, not only with the Advanced range but with all our product range. We also offer a range of experimental training courses in microfluidics and microfabrication. For integration purposes, we offer an introduction to UART communication protocols and SDK. Are the Advanced UART commands the same as the commands to control the OB1 MK4? Will the transition from the Essential to the Advanced range be natural or will there be major changes?
The transition from the Essential to the Advanced range involves some changes, since the architecture of the Advanced range compared to off-the-shelf instruments is not the same. However, the syntax does not change and the basic commands are strictly the same. So the transition will be easy.
How do I choose between a Pressure Controller and a Pressure Controller Lite?
The Advanced Pressure Controller is the best tool designed to run experiments requesting complex pressure profiles and optimum flow control. On the contrary, the Advanced Pressure Controller Lite is the perfect tool if you perform long term and stable experiments in a limited space.
